Frankenstein: Pumping my groove away

Hey!

I'm so glad I finally made it to blogger. I had some internet conection problems and couldn't blogg.

Yesterday I've been making some Frankens and this is definitely the best. I like it a lot and you better like it too LOL. I've made this out of Avon Ruby Slippers, China Glaze Let's groove and S-he 463 (dark blue with purple shimmer).

I decided to use Avon because I love the glittery part of it, but I don't like the color that much. So I tought I can make something as glittery but in more likable color. I decided to go with dark purple which (in my book) always looks good.

Well, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. I really like it and it's something I haven't seen yet. Certainly something special.

Color Club: Revvvolution & bonus photo

Hey guys!

Today I'm felling gray but not in a bad way. I decided to wear Color Club Revvvolution polish- gorgeous dark gray with holographic micro shimmer. Love this polish=)

Here are the pictures:

This polish is pretty thick but in a good way. It is totally opaque in one coat and it dries very quickly. For that reason you can use it when in hurry and you don't have enought time. The brush is normal but OK for applying polish.

I also took a photo of my gray accessory that goes perfectly with my Revvvolution polish LOL

China Glaze: Short & Sassy

Hi!

I'm wearing China Glaze Short & Sassy today. This polish is from their Retro Diva collection which is a great autumn/winter collection. I liked all the colors but order 4 of them.

Short & Sassy is dark red with dark red tinny shimmer. It's noting inovative it's just classic and timeless dark red polish which would be apropriate for almost any accasions.

Finally the sun decided to show up here in Slovenia. It wasn't all the way sunny but it was sunny enought to take better pictures. I'm glad I cought it=)

This is pretty thick but in a good way. It is a two coater but in a hurry you could do just one coat. It also dries quickly.

Purple Frankens

Hey guys!

Today I'm showing off two of my purple Frankens. They are both made of S-he 427.

Check them out:

Grape Freeze Franken

Grape Freeze is an older Franken and it's made of S-he 427 (holo effect) and China Glaze Frostbite (royal blue with blue micro shimmer). It's pretty opaque so I only needed 2 coats. I like it and it's perfect for brightning out this foggy day.

Royal in Purple Franken

Royal in Purple is one of my newer creations. It's made out od S-he 427 (holo effect) and S-he 384 (dark purple with dark blue micro shimmer). It's totally opaque in 2 coats.

Comparing both, I like the second one better. It's a bit darker, more royal purple with lots of pigment. It's also more interesting looking.

Comparison: Avon Ruby Slippers and China Glaze Ruby Pumps

Today I have a red and glittery comparison for you.

Last Saturday I won Avon Ruby Slippers polish on Biba's beauty corner who is also a Slovenian. Thanks for the prize Biba:*

And as this Avon polish looked similar to my China Glazes' Ruby pumps (on of my favorite polishes) I decided to do a comparison for you to see the similarities and differences.

First to the photos:

Avon Ruby Slippers vs. China Glaze Ruby Pumps

(index and middle-Avon Ruby Slippers, ring and pinky- China Glaze Ruby Pumps)

As you can see from the pictures they are not dupes. They are quite different reds with glitter.

CG's Ruby Pumps is more of an darkish red going towards wine red color. It also has red glitter in it. It has a jelly side to it and take 2-3 coats to make it opaque. It removes quite difficult.

Avon's Ruby Slippers is more of an orange red color with silver glitter which looks red on the nails. It also has a bit jelly texture and it's fully opaque in 2 coats. It removes quite difficult. It can only be bought in Avon's catalog.

In my opinion I prefer CG Ruby pumps. I like the fact that it doesn't have orange undertone which can be quite visible in some lights. Ruby Slippers is a bit granny red for me(if you know what I'm talking about) LOL.

If you are a red and glitter nail polish fanatic that you could have both, if not one would be enought.

French manicure with flowers

Hey!

Just posting some photos of my curent mani. I finally had some time to do french mani. I was using Konad IP m19 and make my smile line with Fing'rs white polish. Then I added 4 layers of Seche Chic witch is nude pale pink with tinny shimmer. I also added some stickers on my ring finger and some tinny flowers on my tumb.

This is the final effect:

I like how it turned out. I love the Konad plate for making french design because it saves you time and the end result is great. There's no mess and everything looks perfect.

The only problem I had is Seche nail polish. It's always a bit streaky nomather how I apply it.

Nfu.Oh #60 over black

Hey guys!

Today I have one very special mani for you. The photos are presenting one of my favorites polishes ever- Nfu.Oh #60. It's so gorgeous that I can't find the words to decribe it LOL Really something you should have if you are obsessed with nail polish.

Because of the non-opaqueness (is this a word?) of the Nfu.Oh I used black base color- Manhattan 1010N which is totally opaque in one coat and it dries very quickly. This is definitely my favorite black creme.

And with added Nfu.Oh #60:

This polish really has many faces. It can be dark with dark red flekcs in it, or it can be very colorful and chameleonlike with yellow, orange and green flecks reflecting in the sun.

This polish also dries quickly and you will only need one coat to get this effect over black.
